A Dolphin called "Lumpy"!
If you are interested in some of the background to the dolphins we see here is some about this dolphin, which was part of the pod we encountered on Friday afternoon. We submit our sightings data and photos when available to seawatch foundation to assist with their research. Zoom in on his fin to look for the markings that make it possible to ID him. The have confirmed that he is nicknamed ‘Lumpy’. He was 1st recognised in 2007 as a calf of a long-term female from the area so it’s safe to say that he is probably 5-6 years old now.

Sunday 5th May
After a week away in the sun it was nice to be back out on the boat yesterday. We had a great day with dolphin sightings, first just east of cardigan island and later between cardigan island and cemaes head. Between 6 & 8 in each group. Also lots of seals on the beach at cemaes head, counted 150+. See our Facebook page for some more photos and video :-)
