Newborn Dolphin Calf spotted off Aberporth

We were treated to what we believe is the 1st sighting of a newborn dolphin calf on Saturdays 09:00 trip. Whilst just off Aberporth Headland watching a mother with a juvenile we were joined by anther mother with a newborn calf.  You can see in the photo below (taken by Janet Baxter) that the baby calf is a lot lighter colored that its mum and still has stripes or rings meaning it is probably between 3 & 6 months old.

Saturdays Evening trip also produced a dolphin sighting meaning our 100% success rate for July continues :-)
